What you should know about clinical research studies.

Clinical research studies aim to answer specific questions about
how medicines work in the volunteers who take them. You should
feel fully informed about what to expect from participation in a
clinical research study.

Researchers use clinical research studies to:

  • Answer specific health questions
  • Learn about the effects and safety of investigational drugs
  • Help find new ways of using approved medications
About the SELECT Study

Research has shown that treatment with semaglutide may reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack in people with type 2 diabetes. In a study called SELECT, we will check to see if semaglutide reduces the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke in people with overweight or obesity.

Please check back frequently as new studies are always coming up!
