Overview

Your health is our mission. Whether you need a quick prescription filled or want to talk with one of our friendly pharmacists about your medications, we are here to help you.

The WesternU Pharmacy offers a full line of prescription and non-prescription medications and more. For instance, if you need compression stockings, arch supports, or other non-prescription items, you will be thrilled with the variety of medical products conveniently available to you. The convenience will save you time and the hassle of having to go somewhere else.

Pharmacy inside

When you fill a prescription, your pharmacist will explain to you important information about your medication. You will learn why you take each medication, how it should be taken, possible side effects that could occur, and which side effects to report to your doctor.

Our team of pharmacists help monitor chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and high blood pressure. We are able to do some lab tests and get results immediately.

The pharmacy is staffed by licensed pharmacists, certified pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy students from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy.

For your convenience, our Pharmacy is located on the first floor of WesternU Health building and is open to WesternU patients and the general public. We accept most insurance drug plans, and are proud to be a member of the CAREMART Pharmacy network.

Why choose WesternU Health Pharmacy?
  • Expertise: Our pharmacists are here to help you manage your medical condition, making sure you have the right medications and that you know how to take them. Our team is staffed by licensed pharmacists, certified pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns from the WesternU College of Pharmacy.
If needed, they will gladly consult with your doctors (WesternU doctors and others in the community) when needed to make sure that there are no complications with other medications you might be taking.
  • Caring Providers: Our pharmacists will take time with you to help you understand what medications you are taking and why you take them. They will teach you how to take your medications the right way. And if you have any questions or concerns, they will patiently listen and answer your questions. By the time you leave, you will know when and how to take your medications.
  • Language Assistance: Non-English speakers will be happy to hear that our staff is bilingual.  Whether you speak Spanish or another language, we can communicate with you.
  • A Partner in Your Care: We are here to help you. So, if you have any problems with your medications, feel free to discuss your concerns with your pharmacist.   Your pharmacist is a reliable source and can help you to monitor your condition, limit side effects, and identify possible conflicts with other medications you might be taking.
  • Affordable Cost: As a teaching institute, we are able to pass on cost savings to you.
